Birthdays / Anniversaries…
I feel my little snitch pipeline has dried up. If you know anyone having a birthday or anniversary, let me know so I can post it. Thanks
Happy birthday to Kyle Gosselin, site 43 - Kyle is your newspaper and firewood delivery boy. When you see him, wish him a happy birthday.
Naples Campground 3rd Anniversary – July 1 Please join us to celebrate in the Rec Hall Sunday at 2 p.m.. See you there.
Video Arcade…
The Arcade is up and running. We believe it has been well received by our resident kids and adults alike. We now have a bumper pool table thanks to Bill and Elaine Labelle and a comfy couch thanks to Dennis and Debbie Emerson. We will keep adding new games as time and funds will allow. Our next purchase will be the Wii video game.
The Fitness Room…
Welcome to our Fitness Room. We have quite a few pieces of exercise equipment all donated by our campers. Steve Arel was so excited that he brought his equipment last fall, before the building was built! (I think he was cleaning out his basement.) Thanks Steve and Norm Daigle and all of you that have donated to the cause.
The Rec Hall… We are adding two 30 inch plasma TVs in the Rec Hall. Cable channels will be added so you can hang out and watch your favorite sports or race channel.
We are working with Time Warner Cable to provide cable to each of the sites. Until then, you are invited to the Rec Hall to watch your favorite program. I think this will be really important especially on rain days.
Speaking of the Rec Hall, Fitness Room and Arcade – to all parents: as you know, we have invested allot into our Rec Hall. Please have a talk with your children about our investment and what it means to them.
We have a really nice facility and we intend to continually add new items for your enjoyment. In the past couple of weeks, we have had more damage than we have had in the past two years. Please advise your children that if things get broken we will be less likely to replace them.
Children are not allowed in the Fitness Room without parental supervision. It's a safety issue. Thanks for your help.
Can Tabs…
Ray Smith is collecting aluminum can tabs for the Shriner's Burn Hospital. Please help him in his efforts for this worthy cause. Please drop them off at the Office or at his site #48. Thanks so much for all you do.
Lounge Chairs at the Pool…We have ordered an additional 20 lounge chairs and four tables with umbrellas from our supplier. We were notified this morning that the order has been held up due to the painting process. We expect them to arrive within the next week. That doesn’t help us for this weekend.
Please bring a lounge chair to the pool area. Thank you for understanding. The new ones will be in soon.
Recycling...
We recycle cardboard, white plastic, returnable bottles and cans. Last year, the proceeds supported the Lakes Region High School Project Graduation and the Naples Food Pantry. Recycling is a great way to be environmentally responsible and help out the community as well. Everybody wins! We accept household trash only. Please take home all other materials and recycle or dispose of properly. Thank you.
Bob's Kitchen...
We have printed menus at the Office of all the great food from our Kitchen.
Also, please order your homemade breads before 11 am to be ready after 4 pm for dinner. It'll be the talk of the table.
Bob makes all bread and pizza dough from scratch. Some things can't be rushed!
Daily Newspapers...
Daily newspapers are available at the Office every morning. We normally deliver the Saturday and Sunday papers to you at each site. We have had quite a few folks state that they barely read the paper while on vacation. Evidence is the papers that blow around the campground and the ones that turn up in the recycle bin unused.
In an effort to cut cost without cutting services, we will be leaving the Saturday and Sunday papers at each Bath House and the Rec Hall as well as the Office. Please help yourself as this is a FREE paper we provide to you for your enjoyment. If you are a seasonal camper and would like the paper delivered to your site, please sign up at the Office and we'll be glad to get one to you on a regular basis.
If there's anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please let us know.
Have a GREAT stay!
Your host,
Pam & Con Crepeau
